The outer layer is mostly hydrophilic polyurethane. For custom orders, we use Rubycell material to construct the outer layer of cushion puffs. The inner layer, also called the inner sponge, acts as a cushion.

Another type of cushion puff is made up of two-sided soft and bouncy Rubycell, which is an imported material that is smoother than the hydrophilic non-latex sponge. This type of cushion puff also has an inner sponge and a polyester ribbon with the air cushion logo printed on it.

Designing & Manufacturing

The hydrophilic non-latex sponge and rubycell are highly absorbent, which means that they can hold a significant amount of product without soaking it all up. The inner sponge provides a base for the hydrophilic non-latex sponge or rubycell to sit on, which helps to prevent the makeup from seeping through the cushion puff.

The PU leather is used as a cover for the cushion puff, which provides a comfortable grip for the user. The logo is printed on the PU leather side of the cushion puff, which makes it more visible to the user. The large area of the PU leather also allows for more logo printing options.
